Bringing you the classic 50’s tone that was at the very heart of Rock and Roll…

Coveted by blues, country, and rock players alike – tweed style amplifiers have been staples in famous musicians’ live and studio setups since their introduction. With their warm sound and pushed volume tube break-up, the tone of tweed amps have found their way on to numerous historic recordings of some legendary artists.

Those historic tweed style amps and their legendary tones are responsible for the inspiration behind the Wampler Tweed ‘57. This pedal offers a wide tonal palette of sounds and includes several features that you’ve come to expect from Wampler.

Although the Tweed ’57 delivers the sound of those vintage tones you have come to love and expect, it is not limited to only one particular sound. With a carefully voiced three-band EQ, you will be able to achieve a wide range of tones from your amp. Thanks to the fantastic “Input Simulator” switch, you will have flexibility and control just as you would expect on an amp from that period. Normal, Bright, and Linked input options cooperate with the EQ and gain adjustments to give you control that is easy to use and rewarding to play with.

Whether you are playing a 60’s humbuckers inspired rock song, or a slow single coils blues tune – Wampler’s Tweed ’57 pedal will help you create those iconic tweed sounds you have come to know and love – all at the click of a switch.
