Henry Olonga Scrunch EQ

Sampled at 96 khz with Prismsound Orpheus conversion and high quality short gold tipped cables. 95 MB. 501 files in this package alone. You could happily mix an album with it. Yes – seriously!! Want a clearer, harder mix? This is it.‘Scrunch EQ – expansion pack for Waves Q-clone’. The crunchy mix….

This package is modelled on a desk that Bob Marley recorded on in the 70s. An MCI JH 500 series console. It can be described as gritty when you want a harsher sound. Not harsh as in ugly but definitely bites. SSL-like. This release works well in tandem with the Henry Olonga Superlative EQ and Smooth EQ . Superlative EQ is a slightly harder sound, glassy perhaps or diamond topped as they say, while Smooth EQ is softer and silkier. Henry Olonga recorded these in a london studio while recording piano.

This package took many hours to assemble so he hopes you will appreciate the time and effort put into making this a tool for your super fast mixing.
This set of presets is sampled to the highest specifications such that the difference between the sampled hardware and the sample you use is in the magnitude of negligible. This is truly analog sound in the box with no compromises. This set is sampled using an Orpheus by Prismsound, considered by some to be among some of the best convertors in the world. Henry Olonga has used short DIY gold tipped cables to connect the hardware to the box so there is virtually no loss in quality.
