Tape Echo is an authentic recreation of the Roland RE-501 Chorus Echo, delivering classic tape delay textures with multi-head modes, BPM sync with natural variation, and a joggable playhead.
A three-mode preamp (Dirty, Clean, Warm) shapes tone at the input stage, while a built-in chorus section, spring reverb in three sizes, bass/treble tone controls, and stereo offset provide extensive sonic shaping.
Motor drift, dropouts, and tape noise capture the unpredictable character of the original hardware.
