Ampknob BDM Bundle
Legends of Rock
The Ampknob BDM Bundle is the new standard for classic and modern British rock and metal tones. Inspired by truly iconic amps known for their gold faceplates, this is the quintessential bundle for nailing the most definitive tones in music. In the BDM Bundle, you will find three distinct plugins, inspired by three legendary amplifiers. Each plugin offers a slice of history, channeling iconic tones from the 1970s to the present day.
Ampknob BDM ' 75
This amp carries the raw spirit of punk rock from the '90s and early 2000s. Pulled straight from the studio of a legendary Swedish band, its battle-worn tolex tells a story – rumor has it, the scars were inflicted during a gasoline-fueled act of pure stage aggression. Evolving through countless mods and chaotic repairs, this amp shaped the punk to come. It’s unpredictable and unmistakable. In more recent times, it has become one of the key workhorse amps at Fascination Street Studios. It delivers everything from ballsy crunch to crushing, raw distortion. This old dog needs no new tricks – there’s plenty of bite to go with the bark. "Jumped" mode: Need an extra kick? Flick the channel switch to engage the old school "jump cable" method. The original amp has separate cable inputs for channel one and two. By connecting them with a cable, you can both channels at the same time for an extra gain boost.
Ampknob BDM 800 - BADBOY
Emerging from the depths of the 80s, this is potentially the most iconic amp of all time. The 800 Badboy offers both a classic rhythm tone, and an unforgettable lead tones heard on countless hit records. However, this is not just any old 800. Nicknamed "Badboy", this is an amp from the personal collection of guitarist Euge Valovirta. With military-grade 6550 tubes and a custom 140-watt transformer from Finland, this amp is literally bursting with character, tone, and depth. Rhythm and lead: Toggle the "FX" switch on, select the Lead cab, and you’ve got a dialed-in lead tone with delay and reverb – perfect for shredding your next solo. The BDM 800 Badboy is truly the ultimate all-rounder. No wonder it’s been a guitar-tone staple for the last 40 years! Pick your cab: Modern, Vintage, Lead, or load your own IR for ultimate tone versatility. Built-in effects. Itching to fine tune the delay and reverb? Clicking on the front panel's “FX” tape reveals additional settings for adjusting the details of the reverb and delay effects.
Ampknob BDM 410 JVH
Four channels, two matched cabs, a pedal boost, and reverb – is this the most versatile Ampknob ever released? The BDM 410 JVH, inspired by the sound of contemporary gold-plated amps, encompasses the tone of this iconic British company in the 21st century. The amp we captured is a tried and true tone monster – used extensively on Opeth’s Watershed. Offering pristine cleans to buttery leads and everything in between. BDM 410 JVH is the go-to amp for modern British guitar tones. This modern amp has it all: clean, crunch, overdrive. When high gain is not high enough, kick into the fourth mode for an extreme overdrive.

The future of speaker modeling
Our IRDX (Impulse Response Dynamix) technology breathes life into the guitar sound by adding dynamic and true-to-life speaker behavior to static impulse responses. IRDX technology, developed by producer Jens Bogren, uses advanced machine learning methods to reconstruct the difference between a real cab and an impulse response. The end result is a guitar amp sim that reacts like a real amp, easily fits in a mix without sounding stale, and feels great when playing through. Impulse Responses are excellent at capturing the tonality and resonance of a guitar cabinet, but by nature they are only a static snapshot in time. By itself, an impulse response has the tonal characteristics of a real cab but without dynamics, it creates a lifeless, fatiguing sound. Real-life guitar speakers react dynamically to the input from the amplifier. They move air, compress, and break up depending on how hard they are being pushed by the amp.
