HK Tri MKI is the TH-U expansion library created by Choptones that captures the sound of an authentic 100 Watts, 6 Channel Hughes & Kettner TriAmp MkI head with multiple cabs and overdrive pedals.
Known for its exceptional versatility, this amp delivers everything from sparkling clean tones and vintage crunch to modern high-gain saturation. Each of the six independent channels offers distinct voicings, inspired by classic American and British amps, making it a go-to choice for a wide range of genres—from blues and rock to metal and fusion. This library includes 189 expertly profiled IRs, enhanced with multiple cabinet and overdrive pedal combinations, providing THU users with a flexible and authentic recreation of the TriAmp MkI’s sonic character.

You can load the Choptones Angl Scream library into the Rig Player component, available in any TH-U version:

1. Drag the library file into TH-U
2. Enter the serial number you have received after purchasing the library

APPLE SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY
This library requires TH-U Full or one of its Editions to be used.
TH-U Full is available as AudioUnit, VST, AAX32 (ProTools 10.3.5 and above), AAX64 (ProTools 11 and 12) plugins, as well as a standalone application.
Both 32bit and 64bit are natively supported.
You can authorize TH-U Full on up to three computers that you own and one USB stick with a simple one-click software procedure (no hardware key needed).
