Retromod LoFreq Classic

RETROMOD - CLASSIC HARDWARE SYNTHS IN THE BOX

As the name suggests, the RetroMod series is more than just a collection of sample-based imitations – the goal of this series is to capture the soul of classic hardware synthesizers and add something new – a contemporary twist.

Each instrument is sampled meticulously and in great detail in order to guarantee the greatest realism. The samples are then combined in creative and unusual ways to offer more than just faithful recreations. Take the soul of these iconic synthesizers and push them in new directions, creating sounds simply unachievable from the source hardware. The UI design includes an XY pad assigned to parameters like FM, ring mod, distortion, and filter frequency allowing for real-time expressive manipulation. Also included is a suite of creative FX such as pristine reverbs, chorus, and growling distortion to enhance your sound design. With huge sample libraries and preset banks, the RetroMod LoFreq Classic allows you to add an arsenal of sound sources to your virtual studio.

LOFREQ CLASSIC

Not only does the RetroMod LoFreq Classic plug-in render the feel of the original instruments thanks to meticulous sampling, but it also adds a contemporary twist deriving from the secondary multimode resonant filter, while the second oscillator helps beef up the sound and the XY Pad is designed to add your choice of subtle or aggressive color to the original sound. Go big with 16 voices of unison and rapidly generate patterns with the integrated arpeggiator – creating pulsing basses, searing leads and thick pads just got freaky!

The following instruments were sampled for RetroMod LoFreq Classic: Oberheim SEM, Yamaha CS-30, Arp Odyssey, Korg MS-20, Roland SH-2, Realistic MG-1, Roland TB-303, Roland SH-101, Novation Bass Station R, Doepfer MS-404, and Roland CMU-810
