Micron - Atmos Planet
Soundscapes for the open universe.
Vast, evolving atmospheres for science, space, and the quiet wonder of the unknown.
Description
Micron ATMOS PLANET is crafted for composers and editors who need large, evolving textures that feel spacious, calm, and purposeful—ideal for space documentaries, astronomy features, science programming, reflective cinema, and future-leaning ambient scores. Rather than leaning into dystopia or noise, Atmos PLANET pursues clarity and breath: slow-moving tonal beds, distant harmonic halos, gently orbiting overtones, and subtle rhythmic motion that never distracts. Because a lot of “space” libraries go dark or heavy, Atmos PLANET takes another path: reverent scale, gentle motion, and tonal honesty. It gives editors and composers the room to tell the story—with sound that supports, not competes.
Ever-changing Soundscapes
Unleash the power of our innovative 4-layer instrument, complete with an intuitive XY pad, and craft evolving soundscapes that will transport your listeners. With a vast arsenal of meticulously designed sound sources, the possibilities are endless.
The Sound.
Expansive, not empty. Layers bloom with slow-core movement—air, resonance, and faint particulate detail—so the sound feels alive without crowding the frame. Minor & Major character sets. Quickly shift the emotional axis: solemn, reverent minor hues or open, hopeful major colors—perfect for scene re-cuts and editorial pivots. Organic + synthetic blend. Acoustic sources, processed harmonics, and curated synth tones are blended into coherent atmospheres—a “future-natural” palette that plays well with strings, piano, or modular cues.
Who is it for?
Film/TV composers shaping science and nature narratives, orbital views, and time-lapse sequences. Documentary editors who need immediate, mix-ready beds that hold attention without pulling focus. Ambient and post-classical artists seeking wide, evolving soundscapes with tasteful internal motion. Sound designers who want tonal foundations under which detail and foley can breathe.
Each MICRON library is meticulously crafted around a specific genre, mood, or application. We’re talking laser-focused sonic palettes that nail the sound you’re after, whether it’s the suspenseful atmosphere for your next thriller, the driving pulse of a rock anthem, or the intricate layers of a modern electronic arrangement. XY Atmos The XY Atmos libraries, exemplified are primarily designed for creating immersive and evolving atmospheres.
