VEQ-55A is a versatile three-band EQ that delivers edge and energy to any instrument or audio source.

Description

Inspired by the EQ module of one of the most iconic mix consoles for rock music, It’s your EQ of choice when you need to emphasize all the tiny details your mix has been missing or to gently cut the frequencies that have been causing you trouble. The VEQ-55A provides reciprocal equalization at five fixed frequency points per band in five steps of boost or cut to a maximum of 12 dB of gain.

History

The roots of the hardware-original that inspired VEQ-55A go back to the late 1960s but it was around the early 1970s when it was embraced as the standard EQ module for one of the most iconic mixing consoles for rock music. Few pieces of studio gear have remained in demand for over 50 years since their first introduction but nowadays the interest in this unit led not only to the restart of its manufacturing but to the appearance of various digital tools inspired by its genre-defining sound. We are proud to say our VEQ-55A has managed to authentically preserve anything we love about the original.
